Group Director of Strategy and Marketing, Cabrini Health
Craig is a senior executive specialising in strategic planning for the health and aged care sectors. He graduated as a Physiotherapist, becoming a Director of Olympic Park Sports Medicine Centre before working for a number of organisations including the TAC and Worksafe, Medibank Private, Healthways Australia and Healthdirect Australia.
His experience covers a range of sectors across Primary and Tertiary care, Mental Health, Compensable and Private Health Insurance, Aged Care, the NDIS and Digital Health. He has been a long-time advocate for new financing models for our future health and aged care needs.
As Chief of Staff to the Federal Minister for Health, Aged Care and Sport he was able to deliver on that advocacy through developing and implementing the 2015, 2016 Aged Care and Mental Health reforms. He says, however, his most satisfying moment in that role was bringing together preventative health with sport, to produce the Girls Make Your Move campaign.
Craig holds an MBA from Melbourne Business School and has post graduate studies from Wharton and Stanford Universities.
He is currently Group Director of Strategy and Marketing at Cabrini Health, Victoria’s largest provider of private Cancer and Palliative Care services.
He is also a Director of the South Eastern Melbourne Primary Health Network, having been a past Director of Comcare, Multicultural Arts Victoria and the NSW Ministerial Advisory Board for Preventative Health.
He is a former Victorian State President and National Vice President of the APA.
Craig continues to treat patients on a Saturday morning at Olympic Park.
